San Diego Jazz Party Live in Del Mar

If you live in Del Mar and love jazz music, you will be excited to hear about the San Diego Jazz Party, happening February 24th through the 26th at the Hilton San Diego/Del Mar. This party is an amazing weekend-long jazz festival held annually for the sake of enjoying classic and mainstream jazz in a public celebration that features outstanding musicians from cross-country distances. You’ll be swaying to the beat of smooth and fabulous jazz music performed by skilled players in a relaxed and intimate setting. The San Diego Jazz Party was begun to “provide the public an opportunity to hear live performances of the uniquely American music called jazz,” and you are lucky to have it so close to your Del Mar home!

SDJP additionally seeks to enhance the public’s understanding, knowledge and enjoyment of the contributions that mainstream jazz has made to American culture. Also part of its mission, the SDJP seeks to keep jazz music alive, and also to encourage and assist young, budding jazz musicians at the high school and college levels. Attendees at the Party will enjoy delicious food and festive drinks, relaxation, and, of course, outstanding jazz performed by world-class mainstream jazz musicians who are popular and renowned recording artists.
