La Jolla Neighborhoods: La Jolla Shores
Famous Stretch of Shoreline Makes for Living Large
La Jolla is a scenic city that is situated along a dramatic stretch of the coast in the northern portion of San Diego County. The weather here is world renowned for being gentle and mild all through the year. A summer day will rarely exceed 80 degrees. In the depth of winter, daytime highs will generally reach into the 60’s. Perhaps this is why golf is such a prevalent pastime all through the year. The region is home to numerous courses that are a golfer’s delight. The city of La Jolla is made up of a number of smaller neighborhoods such as La Jolla Shores.
