La Jolla Festival Means Great Schools!

La Jolla Alta Community, News | 29th Sep 2010

Wine glass La Jolla’s 2nd Art & Wine Festival is coming soon! Gather to support this community event on October 9-10 from 11am-6pm and help generate funds to support local schools. A popular event, downtown La Jolla will be filled with over 100 booths from local artisans, the Green Dragon Wine and Beer Garden, live entertainment, and shopping and craft opportunities for the whole family. Last year about 20,000 people attended this amazing event.
All proceeds from the event held on Upper Girard Avenue will benefit La Jolla, Torrey Pines, and Bird Rock Elementary Schools. The festival was designed to support programs such as art, physical education, technology, music and science and raised almost $40,000 for local schools last year.
Visit La Jolla Art & Festival here for more information. Admission is $15 for a two-day adult pass in $15, $10 for children 3-12, and $5 for senior citizens and military personnel. Children 2 and under are free.
