Kids & Witches Bring Halloween to Your Coronado Home
Trick or treaters will come out in force near your Coronado home this year, but they won’t be the only ones in costume on Halloween! That’s right this week marks the annual return of the witches that haunt the streets of Coronado. Over the last decade, this band of sorceresses have converged, broomsticks in hand to liven up the streets of Coronado. If you live in Coronado and don’t want to miss out on what is sure to be an amazing Halloween photo opportunity, venture to the fountain by the Brigatine at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 31st. If tradition holds, the pack of witches will meet there.
In honor of the other critters and creatures roaming downtown Coronado in search of treats, Orange Avenue will be waiting and ready from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to meet those needs. Merchants love handing out goodies to costumed children in Coronado! The Ghostly Goodies Give-Away that includes a $5 Coronado Currency Gift Certificate will also be awarded to fifteen children who live in Coronado and return a completed coupon to the Main Street Cauldron, found at the Rotary Plaza, at the intersection of Orange Avenue, Isabella Avenue and Park Place.
