Ice Skating Near Your Coronado Home
Celebrate the holidays the Southern California way near your Coronado home. For the ninth year, Hotel del Coronado is hosting Skating by the Sea. Enjoy the unique experience of ice skating while looking out at the Pacific Ocean. Kids and adults will have a great time.
Windsor Lawn at the Hotel will be made over into an ice rink. The rink opens on Wednesday, November 27th. This would be a great Thanksgiving treat, especially if you have out of town guests in your Coronado home. If you live in Coronado you can actually experience ice skating overlooking the ocean!
The skating rink will be open November 27th through December 13th, with daily skating sessions from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. There will also be a weekend and holiday early bird session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. From December 14th through January 5th, the skating rink will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Note that the rink will be closed on December 10th for a special Make-A-Wish Foundation event. Tickets for a two hour skating session, with skates included, are $23 for adults and $16 for children 10 and younger.
