Live in Coronado and Support Local Schools
This week Village Elementary and the Early Child Development Center will take to the track on February 26th and 27th to earn money to support the efforts of the Parent and Teacher Together organization. Each student will spend approximately thirty minutes jogging around the field, beginning with first graders at 10:45 a.m., second and third at 12:30 and fourth and fifth graders at 1:45 on the 26th. Kindergarten and ECDC students will race on the 27th at the Village Elementary kindergarten field at 10:30.
Students who live in Coronado are excited for the chance to earn prizes and help with raising money to provide for classroom materials and fun activities arranged by the schools. Children who raise the most through donations from friends, relatives, and neighbors who live in Coronado are awarded individual prized and the top fundraising class even gets a special Village Pizzeria pizza party!
