Fill Yourself with Light Near Your Del Mar Home

If you have ever wanted to participate in a light show or are interested in one of the most unique 5Ks around, you owe it to yourself to check out the Electric Run™! Held near your Del Mar home, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, on Saturday, February 2nd at 7 p.m., this 5k run combines the best of showmanship, participation art, and the celebration of life artists and lighting technicians from Coachella, Dreamworks Animations and Vegas.  In an attempt to keep you mesmerized and engaged as you become part of the art in this 5K walk/run, the Electric Run pulls out all the stops, making it a “must experience” if you live in Del Mar. Costumes that glow, shine, bling, dazzle, and blink are all welcome and each course will have between five and ten differing lighting scenes for your wonder and amazement.

Past shows have included color changing neon trees, patterned dancing tunnel walls, floors and ceilings, glowing bodies of water and laser rainbows, to name a few. Your fees of $60 per individual go to support fundraising efforts of local Boys and Girls Clubs and all participants will receive event shirts with an LED bracelet and glow necklace and sunglasses, definitely making it an event to remember!
