Enjoy the Library Near Your Coronado Home
The Coronado Library has some interesting events coming up! From the Brown Bag Piano Concert by pianist John Mark Harris on Friday, September 28th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Wynn Room to the Frank Sinatra display entitled,”That’s Life” in the main gallery, there is plenty to experience near your Coronado home. No matter what your age, if you live in Coronado, you can enjoy the services and comfort provided by the library, located at 640 Orange Avenue. The Children’s library display was just changed as well, to bring a little magic via Harry Potter, to our home town!
Tuesday afternoons are filled with fun as crafts are made and Tuesday and Thursday mornings are the time for stories galore for toddlers, their parents, and anyone who wishes to listen along. Toddler Time starts at 10:10 a.m. and Preschool Story Hour begins at 10:45 a.m. Both activities occur in the Ruby Room. A new Spanish language hour has just started, as well, beginning at 10:45 a.m. each Thursday. Tomorrow’s craft challenges children to create and describe through the creation of their own unique banner. All supplies will be provided at this free activity and children will be able to keep the banners made. For more information on this and other library events, please click here or call 619.522.7390.
