Coronado Home to Bay Bridge Run/Walk
If you live in a Coronado home, you probably cross the Coronado Bay Bridge in your car on your way to work or running errands in San Diego. There are spectacular views from the bridge, but you don’t get to enjoy them because you have to concentrate on the road.
On Sunday, May 19th, the Navy is hosting its 27th Annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk to raise money for its Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) program, which provides quality of life programs to the more than 500,000 military and civilians who are all part of the San Diego Military Family.
Register to run or walk this unique 4-mile course near your Coronado home. Enjoy the beautiful view of the bay as you’ve never seen it before. If you walk, bring a camera to capture the scenery and show your friends who live in Coronado. After the race, hang out for the party at Tidelands Park in Coronado. The awards presentation and a prize drawing will be happening between 9:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. To win, you must be present at the drawing.
Be part of this event close to Coronado homes to raise money and show appreciation for the sacrifice that military families make. For more information and to register, click here.
