Bike the Bay near Coronado Homes
Riding a bike is a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery near Coronado homes. On Sunday, August 25th, join your friends and neighbors at Bike the Bay. It’s a community, non-competitive bike ride around the San Diego Bay. People living in Coronado homes see the Bay all the time, but how often do you get to really enjoy its beauty? Usually we’re in such a rush in our cars that we don’t take in the scenery around us at all. Bike the Bay is an event for all ages (12 and over) and levels of cyclists to enjoy a morning ride. If you live in Coronado you won’t want to miss it. Proceeds from the ride will benefit The San Diego Bicycle Coalition. They advocate for all people who ride bikes.
The 25-mile ride will start at 6:30 a.m. at Embarcadero Marine Park South, near Harbor Drive and Park Boulevard in San Diego. At 8:30 a.m. the Post-ride Festival opens. There will be food, live entertainment, and a New Belgium beer garden. Invite all your bike-riding friends living near Coronado homes to come take part! Out of town riders should check out hotel recommendations on the website. Visit the Bike the Bay website to learn more and register online. There are some cool giveaways to enter once you’ve registered. Keep up with the Facebook page to see if you’ve won.
