The 3rd Annual VinDiego Wine and Food Festival on April 10-11
San Diego will become the epicenter of the California wine world on Friday April 10th and Saturday, April 11th. That’s when one of the largest gatherings ever of California and Oregon’s ultra-elite winemaking masters will assemble for the third annual VinDiego Wine and Food Festival presented at the NTC Liberty Station in Point Loma. The 3rd Annual VinDiego Wine and Food Festival is a true wine connoisseurs delight. VinDiego is about people coming together to celebrate a shared passion — a passion for great wine and mouth-watering gourmet food.
Experience VinDiego, one of San Diego’s premiere wine events. Come sip, swirl and savor a selection of over 200 handcrafted wines from top tier wineries. Passionate winemakers and winery representatives welcome guests, offering practical knowledge and sharing their delicious wine.
VinDiego also offers a fantastic variety of wonderful local restaurants sampling their delicious culinary delights which will please any discerning palate. The magnitude of culinary talent in San Diego offers all in attendance a mouthwatering culinary extravaganza. To add fun and excitement to the event the festival will offer a steady stream of musical entertainment.
Your general admission ticket includes an elegant crystal souvenir wine glass and unlimited tastes of award winning wines, and a dizzying variety of gourmet appetizers, along with tasty cheeses, artisan breads, and olive oils. The Early Entry VIP ticket allows you to get in one hour earlier than the general admission ticket.
Since 1977, the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank (Food Bank) seeks to alleviate hunger in San Diego County. They connect the people they serve with health and human service providers, advocate for the hungry, and educate the public about hunger. The Food Bank is committed to providing nutrient dense food to recipients including fresh fruit, vegetables and lean protein. It provides food to 370,000 of San Diego County’s neediest each month through it 330 nonprofit partners and more than 150 of its own distributions throughout all of San Diego County. Fresh produce account for nearly 40% of the food we distribute.
Through its partnership with the California Growers Association Our Fresh Produce Initiative provides their recipients with fresh fruits and vegetables and nutrition education. The Food 4 Kids Backpack Program provides weekend food to more than 1400 of San Diego County’s most impoverished elementary school children. Over 28 thousand veteran, active-duty military personnel and their dependents count on them every single month as well as more than 10 thousand seniors. Our 24 thousand volunteers are essential to this organization. They rely on corporate contributions, individual and family monetary donations and food donations to enable them provide for their neighbors in need.
Every month, The Food Bank provides food to 370,000 impoverished people within San Diego County through its 330 nonprofit partners and its neighborhood distributions. The nonprofits partners pick up the food from the food bank’s warehouse, stock their food pantries, cook the food in their cafeterias, and serve hot meals to individuals and families in need. The Food Bank conducts over 150 neighborhood distributions a month throughout the county.
Due to Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, no one under 21 years of age will be permitted at the event including infants and children. Due to Health and Safety Codes, no animals will be permitted at the event, except Service Animals meeting state and federal standards. Tickets are non-refundable for any reason. VinDiego does not issue partial or complete refunds to ticket purchasers for any reason. All sales are final. The VinDiego Wine and Food Festival is a rain or shine event.
