Walk a Dog Near Your Coronado Home

Coronado Community, News | 20th Mar 2013

Dog walking near your Coronado homeIf you own a Coronado home, love dogs, and are looking for a great volunteer opportunity, consider becoming a dog walker for the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF). At this time, the ACF is looking for people who are available to train as dog walkers to prepare for the next surge of new dogs. Dogs are walked from 9 to 10 a.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The ideal walker would live in Coronado and be able to commit to two shifts per week, hopefully at the same time each week. Volunteers and anyone accompanying them should be 18 years of age or older.

This is a wonderful way to get to know your Coronado community and the beautiful real estate and seaside breezes that can only be found here. Not only do you get the benefit of a regular exercise regime and from making new friends with similar interests, you also get to know and love some sweet dogs. It’s also a great way to meet other people who live in Coronado as you travel through neighborhoods and share your love of dogs!

Contact Louise at the Coronado Animal Care Facility for more information at 619.435.8247. Enjoy your walks with a four legged friend and take advantage of another wonderful opportunity near your Coronado home!
