Tour Coronado’s Historic Homes

News | 7th Apr 2010
100_5902 The Coronado Historical Association’s annual Historic Home Tour is right around the corner!  What a great way to learn about the history of Coronado and experience a glimpse of life in the early 20th century.

On Sunday, May 2, between 11am and 4 pm, you can be a part of The Winchester Legacy, an in-depth tour of some of Coronado’s most historic homes.  This year’s tour features five historic homes and a newly renovated lodge. The self-guided walking tour features The Winchester Legacy, mostly Craftsman-era bungalows developed and sold between 1909 and 1911.  Another home is a folk-Victorian evocative of the Hotel del Coronado and built in 1896, making it one of the oldest residences in Coronado!

Also on display, through September, at the Coronado Historical Association’s Museum of History and Art is the Ozily Yours: L. Frank Baum in Coronado exhibit.  For more information or tickets, see http://www.coronadohistory.org/.
