Surf for the Cure near La Jolla Homes
Surf for the cure! Cancer affects the lives of millions of people every year. Many of them live in La Jolla and San Diego County. On Sunday, August 18th, come cheer on the competitors in the 20th Annual Luau & Longboard Invitational. Each team of four will be joined by a longboard legend for the surfing contest. Come out to Scripps Pier near La Jolla homes at 7 a.m. for the exciting competition. It’s free and open to the public.
The Luau will be held at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. It’s at the top of the bluffs overlooking the competition. Guests will enjoy a delicious tropical buffet. Entertainment will be provided by Hawaiian singer Anuhea. There will also be traditional Polynesian dancing by Heali’i’s Polynesian Revue. Supporting cancer research near La Jolla homes was never so fun before.
