Red Barron Triplane Calls Coronado Home
The Coronado Public Library is home to some exciting new things! In the Children’s Library, you will find the model of the Red Fokker Dr. I Triplane flown by the Red Barron in World War One! If that weren’t enough, you’ll also find plenty of crafts and activities for all ages near your Coronado home. Children can enjoy Toddler Time at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Ruby Room and Pre-Schooler Story Time starts at 10:45 a.m. those same days. A Spanish speaking story time is also offered to those who live in Coronado on Thursdays at 10:45 a.m.
Tweens (4th and 5th graders) can visit on Tuesday, January 29th to make egg carton creatures at 3 p.m. Teens in middle and high school will be able to create a craft entitled “Do Your Own Scooter” on Wednesday, January 30th, at 2:30 p.m., too. If you visit the library, you’ll also notice a Charles Schulz Peanuts exhibit in the Gallery until January 31st and that the Children’s Display Case features women’s wear from the 1930’s through February, showcased by Roberta’s Dress Shop.
