Race Through Coronado Homes in Valentines 10K

Coronado homeowners need not travel far to enjoy a little pre-Valentines calorie burn this year. On Sunday, February 13th at Tidelands Park, located at 2000 Mullinex Drive, Coronado residents can join the Coronado Valentineโ€™s Day 10K. Beginning at 7:15 a.m., this flat fast course race is perfect for a fun run with your Valentine since you can enter as a couple and compete against other couples. You can also sign up as an individual and walkers and baby strollers are welcome at this fun event. Water stops will be placed at mile two and mile four.
Register to race by clicking here. Race packets, with race number and event shirt, can be picked up February 10th through 12th. All Proceeds from the Coronado Valentine’s Day 10K go to the Islander Sports Foundation and the Stephen J. Wampler Foundation. The Islander Sports Foundation’s mission is to help students become champions through sports and the Stephen J. Wampler Foundation strives to give children with physical disabilities outdoor wilderness experiences.
