Point Loma Home to Watercolor Exhibit

Those who live in Point Loma and love art, especially watercolor art, will find pleasure in the San Diego Watercolor Society’s current show, entitled Starting Fresh near your Point Loma home. Starting Fresh is a wonderful new watercolor exhibit that has been open this month and will be shown through January 28th, from 10am to 4pm Wednesday through Saturday. Watercolor is a lucid, vibrant art media that tends to produce pieces with a clean and fresh feel. Starting Fresh is an uplifting way to start of the New Year and we hope you can enjoy the breath of fresh air that the SDWS’ gallery lends. This impressive and inspiring show features more than 100 beautiful new and original works of watermedia art shown the SDWS’ light-filled, spacious gallery. Starting Fresh is juried by The San Diego County Fair “Fine Art Divas” Kathy Thompson & Shea Rose Brandt.

Each month the SDWS hosts a new exhibition and each year the SDWS hosts an acclaimed international exhibition, attracting artist entries from around the world and hundreds of visitors to view the exceptional pieces on display. More than 700 artists from around the world belong to the SDWS and many show their work at the SDWS Gallery. This exhibit and all others presented by the SDWS Gallery are free and open to the public. Artwork is available for sale along with greeting cards and other items. The Gallery is located at 2825 Dewey Road, #105, at the NTC Promenade in Point Loma’s Liberty Station, SD, 92106.
