Live in La Jolla and go to the Arts & Wine Festival
Families who live in La Jolla with school-age children will want to come out for the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival. It’s going to be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th. The festival will be set up between Prospect Avenue and Kline Street, on lower Girard Avenue. The festival is free, and cash donations are accepted at the festival entrances. Profits from the festival go to fund art, music, science, P.E., technology, and school medical care at several La Jolla public elementary and middle schools.
This festival has something for all who live in La Jolla. The juried art show attracts artists from all over Southern California and beyond. After you’ve checked out the artwork, there’s still lots to do. Bid for items in the silent auction. Shop for treats for your La Jolla home at the gourmet marketplace. Drop in at the beer and wine gardens to sample wines from the world’s top wineries and San Diego’s best breweries. Make your own artwork at the Gepetto’s/La Jolla YMCA Family Art Center.
This is a fun way to raise money for the programs that enrich the lives of public school children who live in La Jolla. Gather your friends and family and have a great weekend of art, music, and great food. Click here for more information.
