Kayaking and Fireworks Near Coronado Homes
Families looking to extend the July 4th festivities near Coronado homes should check out the evening kayak trip hosted by Family Kayak Adventure Center. On Saturday, July 6th at 7 p.m., meet at Tidelands Park, 2100 Mullinex Drive. No previous kayak experience is necessary, as a lesson is included with your ticket purchase. After the lesson, enjoy a beautiful paddle under the stars. One of the highlights of the trip is going under the Coronado Bay Bridge. You’ll get a lovely view of San Diego at night that few people ever see. The evening wraps up with a fireworks show over the water. There’s nothing as pretty as fireworks in the sky being reflected in the ocean.
This trip, so close to Coronado homes, is an easy way to learn about kayaking. The trip takes place in protected waters. Additionally, all gear is included! Family Kayak Adventure Center will bring stable and comfortable kayaks that are easy to paddle. They also supply paddles, life vests, and lights for the kayaks.
