Enjoy The Opera Near Your La Jolla Home
Mainly Mozart is proud to invite all music lovers with a La Jolla home to two sparkling evenings, April 26th and 27th at 7:30 p.m. Held at the acoustically superb Auditorium at The Scripps Research Institute (formerly The Neurosciences Institute) on 10640 John Jay Hopkins Drive in San Diego, this is sure to be an evening of amazing opera.
One of the opera world’s brightest new stars, Susanna Phillips will take the stage! She will be accompanied by three exquisitely talented instrumentalists: Paul Neubauer, a viola powerhouse; David Shifrin, the renowned clarinetist, and Anne-Marie McDermott, a native daughter of San Diego and Mainly Mozart’s talented curator, on the keyboard.
You can enjoy a relaxing wine reception at 6:30 p.m. (included with your ticket) before the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The concerts are just over an hour and are performed without intermission, making the evening just the right escape from the busy life which awaits at your La Jolla home. A stimulating question and answer session with the artists will follow the concert. For more information, a map to the venue, and to purchase tickets, please visit the Mainly Mozart website.
It’s going to be an evening to remember for the opera aficianados who live in La Jolla.
