Dance Festival Performs Live in Coronado

All parts of the world have music and dance that reflect their own unique culture. This month, you and your family can experience the mystique and magic of the world not far from your Coronado home. Nations of San Diego International Dance Festival will take place on Friday, February 10th through Sunday, February 12th, marking the 18th year of this favored tradition. Nations brings traditional dancers from over 15 cultures together in a sophisticated theatre for a weekend of magical performances performed together in one weekend of international dance and musical flavors. It’s a spectacle to enjoy if you live in Coronado.

This unique event features over 150 dancers and musicians from every continent sharing dance and music traditions to transport audiences to exotic lands for a refined taste of these authentic art forms. The 2012 festival will include dancers and musicians representing Brazil, China, India, Mexico, the Middle East, the Philippines, Spain, and many others. Performances will begin at 8:00pm on Friday, February 10th, Saturday, February 11th at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and Sunday, February 12th at 2:00pm at the Coronado Performing Arts Center, 650 D Avenue, Coronado.
