Coronado High School, with Time Warner Cable, will be hosting the 23rd Annual Coronado Schools Foundation fundraising telethon this Wednesday, March 16th. The live telethon will take place at the Coronado High School Quad and Performing Arts Center from 5 to 9 p.m.  If you live in Coronado, you can also view the telethon on Channel 19 or on the website at csfkids.org.  You can also make a pledge through the website or by calling 619.437.8059.  The telethon is a great way for Coronado home owners and residents to support local schools.
The Coronado Unified School District hopes to earn over $160,000 to support educational excellence.  The telethon will be hosted by local celebrity Jane Mitchell from channel 4 San Diego and include performances by teachers, administrators, and over 1,000 students.  The indoor live performances will begin at 5:45 with the NJROTC Islander Company Cadets.  This is an event you don’t want to miss!  Activities, games, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and more will all be a part of this fun-filled evening.
