Bike Near Your Coronado Home & Enjoy the Ride!
San Diego residents have an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day cruising the San Diego Bay on Sunday, August 26th. Located near your Coronado home, the Bayshore Bikeway, comes alive with activity in this yearly event. If you live in Coronado, you won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to participate in the community wide Bike the Bay event.
This rare chance to enjoy a day out with your family and friends, riding near your Coronado home, only comes once per year and is a tradition five years in the making. The ride is lengthy, 25 miles in all, but open to all participants over 12 years old (no bike trailers permitted) and skill levels and will explore areas from Coronado to Embarcadero Mariana Park South, including Imperial Beach, National City, and Chula Vista. You can register online or in person on Saturday August 18th in Pacific Beach at the at Bicycle Warehouse, where you can get a free bike check-up, too! Limited participants can also register at the Embarcadero Marina Park South on a space available basis on August 25th and 26th. Registration is $55 and supports The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition.
