La Jolla has several shoreline parks where people can enjoy the day. Three of the crowd’s favorites are the Kellogg Park, Ellen Browning Scripps Park, and last but not the least, the Cuvier Park.

Kellogg Park

At the southern end of the park, you can find the children’s playground.  The park comes with a relaxed atmosphere, suitable for a Sunday afternoon recreation for the whole family. In some parts of the park, there are small trees and scrubs, thus adding more privacy to the park.

A number of shore line parks in San Diego County are located on bluff tops overlooking the ocean, however, Kellogg Park comes up to the beach. And when the weekend comes, groups of scuba divers gear up at the south end of the park. La Jolla shores near the park is a famous diving spot, generally because of the gentle surf, as well as the easy ocean entry.

Park amenities include a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and showers.
