Convenient Access Makes This a Prize Locale
La Jolla is a small city located along the coast in the northern portion of San Diego County. It is made up of a number of smaller neighborhoods such as La Jolla Heights. Trails wind their way up to scenic vistas and explore scenic woodlands and canyons.
The La Jolla area is a favorite of bird watchers with numerous year round species as well as many more migratory birds who feed at local lagoons and in the coastal zone. The mild weather and good soil make the place a delight for those who like gardening. Most anything will grow here because of the equitable temperature that prevails the year round.
